I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but you’ll ALWAYS find some sort of lip product in my bag. Whether it’s a new gloss or one of my tried and true balms, I always like to have a little something on my lips!

I’ve tested out a bunch of products over the years and although I’m not married to a specific brand, I certainly have a few items that I continue to buy time and time again.

Lipsticks For Any Occasion
If I’m looking for color over everything, I’ll always turn to lipstick.
There are SO many types on the market, but I’m definitely more of a satin girl than someone who wears matte or high-gloss lipstick.
I’ve found a few new lip products over the last year, but the MAC Cream Lipstick will always be one of my favorites.
I’ve worn this lipstick for as long as I can remember and the formula is still the same! I have it in a color called “twig” and find that it makes a great everyday color.
But if we’re talking about items on the newer end, I have to show you this Charlotte Tilbury Hyaluronic Happikiss Lipstick Balm.
This one is a little glossier than the MAC lipstick above and the color is slightly more translucent. Just things to note before you snag one of your own!
My Tried and True Lip Glosses
Whenever I’m seeking just a touch of color, I opt for lipgloss instead of lipstick. And although I’ve tried a bunch of different kinds, I have a few that you’ll always find in my purse.
The Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm is one of my top picks — I use it almost every day. It offers just a bit of color while actually making my lips feel nourished!
Plus, it comes in a variety of colors to help you find a shade that works best with your skin tone.
Whether I’m prepping for a TODAY Show segment or a dinner out with my family, this Buxom Gloss never disappoints. I have it in “Dolly” and I love that it has a bit of a plumping effect to add some volume to my lips!
The Nymphette shade in this MAC Lipglass has a bit of a peachy tone which is why it’s one of my favorite lip products for spring and summer.
With that said, it’s available in a bunch of colors so you’re bound to find one that fits your needs!
If you’re searching for a budget-friendly gloss that competes with higher-priced products, try this MILANI Keep It Full lip gloss. I wear Rosewood and Luminoso. Both of which offer the perfect touch of color!
Lip Liners You Should Try
Using a lip pencil is a great way to get a clean line around your lips. It’s also great because it gives you a fuller lip look… without any actual fillers!-
I actually picked up this Makeup by Mario Lip Liner recently… The verdict? It’s AMAZING! I like that it’s creamy and not dry like some lip pencils.
I own the “Jonny” color and as you can see, it’s a great, neutral tone that won’t overpower your lipstick or lipgloss.
And despite loving my new Mario liner, the MAC Lip Pencil will always be one of my favorites. “Soar” is the color I use!
Nourishing Lip Products
My mom always said to focus on skincare before even thinking about applying makeup… and the same is true for your lips!
You want to make sure your lips are hydrated and nourished to provide a good base for any color.
The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is a product I just started using last year.
And all I have to say is that I wish I discovered it sooner!
I put it on before bed and like magic, I wake up with super smooth and soft lips.
If you’re looking for a lip mask that will help minimize fine lines and wrinkles, the Tatcha Lip Mask is one that you’ll love.
Similar to the LANEIGE mask above, you can apply this one before bed for a hydrated and plump pout!
My Go-To Lip Balms
Using blam is a great way to keep your lips in good shape. Another perk? Lip balms are easy to take on the go!
On days when I’m just looking for a clear and hydrating touch-up, I turn to this Sugar Lip Balm from Fresh.
It also comes in a few colors that add a subtle tint to your lips, but I typically go for the clear one (called “untinted”).
And I can’t sign off without giving a shoutout to this Mad Gabs Lip Balm Variety Pack.
