Summer Sandal Essentials
Let’s start with some new sandals! I found a few that look really cute for the warm months ahead.
Aren’t these thong sandals from Clarks adorable?
Clarks is known for comfort, so I have no doubt that this floral style will be supportive and comfortable underfoot.
The turquoise color of these summer sandals made me smile, but I’m also a huge fan of having a “nude” sandal, so check out the sand colorway too.
My family wears summer sandals by KEEN year after year. I like the look of the style above for its simple and casual vibe.
I can see myself wearing these sandals with shorts, skorts, cropped pants and even a flowy maxi dress. Seems like the perfect summer essential to me!
One summer sandal I always reach for is an espadrille.
Espadrilles have such an effortless vibe but they still seem to add a little oomph to an otherwise casual look. I think this wedge style looks just right for the summer.
This style is offered in a wide range of sizes and widths, so be sure to check the brand out if you have a hard foot to fit.
Summer Jewelry You’ll Love
This just in! We have a brand new set of PowerBeads available at the Just Jill Shop.

You know how much I love the beach, so I thought I’d bring the beach to you with these bracelets!
We have one with a sunshine charm, one with a turtle charm and another with a starfish.

This Bellissimo Bronzo bracelet has some beautiful color to it. The red coral rondels are sure to provide your summer outfit with a pop of excitement!

Also part of the Bellissimo Bronzo collection is this Hammered Rolo Necklace.
The 24-inch length makes it great for layering and the hammered design offers some stunning texture that makes it unique.

My Favorite Fashion Styles For Summer
I’m a casual gal.
A good tee-shirt paired with either a pair of crop pants or a denim skirt is my usual summer uniform. Take a look at a few brands and styles that work for me and might be nice essentials for your wardrobe as well.

NYDJ is my absolute favorite denim brand. For over a decade (that is NOT an exaggeration!) NYDJ jeans have been my go-to.
They may be on the more expensive end, but the quality is excellent so you don’t have to worry about replacing them all the time.
Plus, THEY FIT PERFECTLY!
Can you imagine? JEANS YOU LOVE? JEANS THAT FIT? I’ll come off of the soapbox, but as a gal with curves, who has also fluctuated in size, they’re the best jeans I’ve ever worn.
While I don’t wear shorts very often, I do love a denim skirt. I have the above style and wear it all the time.
And when I’m not wearing it, my daughter, Kylie, asks to borrow it. You need at least one!
But if you want two, check out the one above which is on clearance and comes in several colors. I even own it in a few colors 🙂
Isn’t this tasseled shoulder tee with a hoodie by Kim Gravel adorable? What a fresh take on a tee-shirt!
Kim does a great job with her collections and she’s so fun to work with!
Set Your Summer Table With Style
I love to entertain outdoors.
And as you know, I love to set a fun and festive table. Take a look at these tabletop finds for your next pool party or barbeque!

Melamine dishes are perfect for outdoor parties because it doesn’t break! The colors also make any summer party more festive and fun.

And if you really want to impress your guests, a decorated cutting board will help you through a great outdoor party.
This one includes a few accessories to make serving easy!
To pull everything together, set out some placemats. I’ve always been a fan of the woven and natural look—you can use them year-round and for any occasion.

And to fit the natural theme, this salad serving bowl is a perfect fit.
Setting out some cocktails or iced tea? You’ll need some glassware!
Even if I’m throwing a super casual summer gathering, I like glasses that look nice.

If you’ve ever used a gas grill, only to discover that your propane tank was empty, you’ll really appreciate this propane tank gauge.
It lets you know if you’re running low!
Summer Skin Saviors
I love sharing my favorite beauty products.
I also like to keep my routine simple, and I work really hard to keep SPF and soothing ingredients in my summer skincare assortment.
I love Lancer skincare products and this Sheer Fluid Sun Shield is a new favorite. It’s very light on the skin, but it has SPF 30 so I know I’m protected.
I put this product on under my foundation or when I’m out working in the garden.

I’ve also been loving this Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen. It doesn’t leave a white cast and I love that it makes my face feel nice and smooth when I put it on.

If you prefer your sunscreen in stick form, the Mad Gab’s Sun Care Set at the Just Jill Shop is the way to go.
The Sun Sticks go on clear and won’t run into your eyes on even the hottest of days.
Plus, you’ll get a Prickly Pear Lip Balm with your sunscreen!

If you want to slough off dry skin while giving it some good nourishing, this Ultimate Head to Toe Skin Loving set by Josie Maran is for you!

And don’t forget to pamper your lips after giving them some exfoliation! I recently added these Just Jill Lip Balms to justjillshop.com.
They have a vanilla-mint flavor that I adore… even my son is in love with them!

This TATCHA lip mask is a nightly ritual for me. It’s a bit of a thick jelly-like consistency, but that allows it to cling to your lips overnight so that you wake up with softness!

If you need some dry shampoo to get rid of that greasy look on hot days, this dry shampoo by Bumble and Bumble is my go-to. I love that it doesn’t leave that white residue.
Remember to spray at the roots, about 10-12 inches away. For hot sweaty days or nights, this dry shampoo is a great way to refresh your look without a full rewash.
And since I’ve been a WEN girl for many years, I wanted to recommend this WEN conditioner! It’s technically for kids… but I love the fragrance and love how soft it makes my hair feel.
Hoping these summer essentials will get you warm-weather ready!
From my summer home to yours,
Jill
