Maybe there weren’t a bunch of trick-or-treaters or maybe you scored a major deal on bulk Halloween candy. But now that the holiday has passed, what will you do with all of that leftover candy??
If you’re like me you’ll sneak a few pieces for yourself, but there are quite a few ways you can make use of that extra candy lying around. Whether you have an abundance of Reese’s (my personal favorite), candy corn, or even Skittles, I found a few recipes that will help you use up your stash.
Take a peek at the best ways to use leftover candy below!
Candy Corn and White Chocolate Blondies
Whether you like it or not, candy corn is one of the most popular Halloween candies on the market. But if you have a few extra bags lying around, you’ll have to take a look at this recipe.
These Candy Corn and White Chocolate Blondies from Averie Cooks are chewy, easy to make, and packed with bright colors. They look like they’d be great for Thanksgiving, too! Check out the full recipe HERE.
You can also add some candy corn to my go-to Chocolate Chip Cookies. Just add some “kernels” when you stir in your chocolate chips!
Halloween Candy Cookie Bars
But if you’re more of a brownie person instead of a blondie person, there’s a recipe for you as well!
Check out this option I found from Taste of Home. In addition to the brownie base, these are packed with M&Ms and Reese’s Pieces throughout. Then, they’re topped with assorted leftover candy. (get creative with whatever you have on hand!
You can make them at home with the full recipe HERE. You can also use my Fudgy Chocolate Sheet Cake recipe as a base.
Halloween Candy Bark
What I love about chocolate bark is that you can top it with just about anything. In this case, it’s leftover candy from Halloween!
This Taste of Home dessert uses white candy coating as a base. On top, it’s piled high with Oreo cookies, pretzels, candy corn, peanuts and milk chocolate M&M’s.
You can find the exact recipe HERE, but you can also sprinkle the base with whatever candy you have on hand (I love the sweet and salty flavors together!).
Reese’s Krispies
Reese’s will always be one of my favorite candies. I mean… the chocolate and peanut butter combo really can’t be beat.
In this recipe, the classic candy is combined Rice Krispies, chocolate chips, and creamy peanut butter. Since they’re formed into balls, they make for a great on-the-go snack! You can find all of the instructions from Oh Sweet Basil HERE.
Double Chocolate Caramel Caramel Corn & Cocoa Bars
Sticking with the Rice Krispy theme, I also discovered this bar recipe. Even the photo looks good enough to devour!
This Averie Cooks treat makes use of lots of types of leftover candy including M&Ms, Butterfinger Bars, Twix, and Snickers. She also adds in marshmallows, chocolate chips, a chocolate drizzle and more.
Can you say scrumptious?? Take a peek at everything you need for the recipe HERE.

My Candy Bar Apple Salad
If something has the word “salad” in it, it has to be healthy, right? At least that’s what I’m telling myself because this Candy Bar Apple Salad is delish.
This treat requires Snickers, so if the neighborhood kids managed to leave you with a few extras, you can put them to good use here. The candy is stirred together with apples, pudding mix, and whipped topping. Doesn’t that sound good?
