Pretty pumpkins to perk up your place!
I have a thing for pumpkins.
Big, little, orange, white, smooth, bumpy… you name it!
They’re my favorite fall accent, and I found some that will work beautifully in just about any home!
This glass pumpkin is so easy to work with. It features a pop of color but it’s also elegant and I can see it being super versatile.
And then there are these mercury glass pumpkins that come in three beautiful metallic colors.
They’re wonderful for adding dimension to any space.
Opting for rustic, primitive-looking decor is a great way to add some texture into your design space.
This harvest wooden pumpkin is an understated way to add this vibe to your decor.
Then there are these solid wood pumpkins. They feature a similar look, but you can keep them together or spread them throughout your home.
They’re even stackable!
I love the uniqueness of this set of glitter crackle pumpkins. Style them together or separate!
For a more sophisticated look when using pumpkins, try using these matte white bisque pumpkins. They’re also great to incorporate into coastal decor for the harvest months!
Velvet pumpkins seem to be the rage… but they can be expensive! I like this set of mini velvet pumpkins because you get a set for what you often pay for just one.
More pumpkins, more options!
I like the simplicity of these black pumpkin planters… especially when paired with foliage or candles!
They have more of a rustic look too—great for homes with deeper tones.
Fall + Front Door = FUN!
I’ve always said a front door with a wreath equates to someone nice living there. But decorating the door is just the beginning!
Here are a few ways to have fun with fall decor for the front of your home.
This “welcome” front porch leaner is so charming.
It adds height and interest, and can even be seen from the road.
Surround it with buckets of mums or petite pumpkins, and your fall front door decor is practically finished!
If you like a bit more whimsy, this scarecrow front porch accent might be more your style. Isn’t he cute?
I think this fall harvest sunflower wreath is a stunner… it’s full and lush with an elevated look thanks to the pumpkins. But, it still maintains true harvest tones.
Just a beauty!
I can’t feature fall decor without including a touch of Halloween. It’s my husband’s FAVORITE time to decorate!
I like the size and scale of this pumpkin Halloween figurine.
Right for the season, but not too scary for the littles. Don’t tell Doug, but this one may be coming to our house!
If you already have a wreath you love, why not add a new fall touch like this charming accent bow?
The plaid is a traditional fall look and the leaves add some extra character.
A great accent item to transform tired and drab into something FAB!
Farmhouse fall decor
If you’re active on social media and you like home decor, you probably follow some of the amazing accounts that feature farmhouse home decor.
I’m in awe of some of these gals who make home design for the season look so effortless!
I’ve keyed in on a few common threads for the farmhouse look that I seem to gravitate towards. Since my home isn’t a total farmhouse decor style, I like highlighting one area with that vignette instead of just dropping random farmhouse pieces here and there.
Let’s start with this fabulous cotton blossom farmhouse wreath. Cotton blossoms are the “in” flower for farmhouse decorating!
I love this wreath because it has the leaves that bring it into fall, but frankly, you can display it year round!
It’s neutral too… so if you like the pops of color for fall, this won’t compete.
If you have any vases or decor for fall that you want to incorporate into farmhouse decor, add this set of cotton blossom stems.
This is another item I think you’ll be glad to have on hand. You can scatter them across a mantle or mix them into other decor to bring that farmhouse vibe to life!
These sweet sage pumpkins are a simple touch of color that blends in perfectly with the soft neutrals of farmhouse decor.
And if there’s a pattern that works within the farmhouse design world, it’s buffalo check. Plus, black and white looks perfect mixed in with autumnal elements.
I think this set of buffalo check pumpkins is the perfect little trio!
Galvanized and Glorious!
I’ve always loved the look of galvanized metal. I tend to like white metals anyway, but there’s something very cool about the matte and quiet pattern of galvanized containers.
This look also weighs very heavily into farmhouse decor, but I think it’s the kind of style that can work with most decor interiors!
This “falloween” arrangement in a sleek galvanized container caught my eye immediately.
The deep colors of the leaves contrast well with the orange and bright metallic pumpkins for a super dimensional look.
I like that it can be used on a porch, in an entryway or even as a table centerpiece!
And these galvanized pumpkin luminaries? Darling.
I’m sure you’ll find a ton of ways to use them inside or outside your home. The subtle glow adds some fall coziness too, don’t you think?
Remember those cute velvet pumpkins I showed you earlier? Well, here’s the perfect vessel to use them with!
This galvanized bucket is the ideal home for pinecones, pumpkins, cotton stems or all of the above!
Fall favorites for your kitchen
If you do nothing else, treat yourself and your home to a new set of kitchen towels for the season.
When I lived in my first apartment and had very little money to spend on “decorating” my space, my splurge for the season was a new set of kitchen towels.
Practical and pretty. They never go out of style!
Check out these assorted harvest kitchen towels that instantly get you into the fall mood!
Adding a few touches to your countertops is another simple and affordable way to spruce up your space.
I like these covered harvest-themed bowls because you can use them as a fruit bowl for the season, storage for leftovers, or for serving!
I like items that do multiple things… and since the season for fall decorating is September through November, you’ll get a lot of use out of these.
This pumpkin placemat will help you set the perfect fall table.
But think of using just one on your kitchen island under a hurricane candle. It’s a simple and subtle way to add that harvest touch.
This pumpkin decor tureen above is a great way to change the way you think about what you use to decorate.
It’s for serving… but who says you can’t use it as decorative accents filled with faux florals? Or as a cookie jar? Or as a candy dish?
The shape is there and though it’s a bit pricey, it’s high-quality and versatile. So, have fun playing around with how you use this year to year!
This ceramic pumpkin gravy boat was too cute not to share.
Of course, it will be perfect for Thanksgiving. But what about a little warmed syrup for pancakes on Sunday morning?
This ceramic pumpkin serving bowl coordinates with the gravy boat.
I can already tell your mashed potatoes are going to look pretty tasty in this! But I love the idea of using it filled with some mini pinecones and flameless candles for a pretty candle garden coffee table look.
What do you think?
I’ve been a fan of Nordic Ware bakeware for as long as I can remember. They make the most beautiful pans that transform a cake mix into bakery bliss.
Imagine your favorite pumpkin bread recipe baked into this Nordic Wave pumpkin loaf pan… so special!
Elegant and Exquisite Fall Finds
I’ve always described my style as eclectic. Or, kind of “high-low” if you will.
I like to mix a touch of upscale with my bargain finds. It makes the “low” seem like more, and brings the “high” into the everyday.
At my core, I love a bargain. So even when I find those elevated pieces, they aren’t prohibitively expensive.
Here are a few pieces I found that bring in a touch of elegance but won’t totally break the bank. A great “high-low” mix!
Yes, I love pumpkins for fall. But there’s something chic and luxurious about using hydrangeas like those in this harvest hydrangea wreath.
These colors are SO rich and refined, and I love the coppery hues of the leaves. It’s so thoroughly and thoughtfully designed… that’s what sets it apart!
Then there are these lovely glass pumpkins. Simply stunning!
These elegant shimmer glass pumpkins come in a choice of three sizes. Of course, a set of three would be divine… but just one has enough beauty to make you happy.
Looking to elevate the farmhouse vibe?
Let me introduce you to this super chic, super cute checkered pumpkin.
Anytime you add a touch of metallic glow to your decor, you’ve raised the bar.
This set of gold illuminated pumpkins has me dreaming of my Thanksgiving table with lots of votives flickering and these as part of the tablescape.
Simple yet elegant.
A few more fall finds….
To no surprise… I can’t stop browsing. Here are a few more finds for fall I think you’ll enjoy.
I love the look of this “welcome” sign.
It’s easy to lean up against the wall and I just adore the small basket in place of the “o” that holds pretty-looking flowers.
I don’t think baskets are season-specific, but how you use them, is.
I love the possibilities of this set of three seagrass baskets.
Under a console table with a fluffy throw draped over the edge. On your hearth with birch logs. The ways you can use them are endless!
I had to include these woven bottles because of their natural look. This look is really on-trend right now and the unique wood rope wrapping fits well with both rustic or farmhouse decor.
Use the cotton stems from earlier or find amber and orange leaf stems to put in the bottles instead.
I just think they offer a very cool look… agree?
I thought this stacked pumpkin topiary was a wonderful alternative to putting flowers on the sides of your front door.
Set them on the ground or in a pot to add a vertical touch of decorations to the front of your home.
And here’s a twist on your classic lantern.
This harvest accent-filled lantern with LED lights has a lovely warm feel to it.
If you have some extra flameless candles sitting around, put one inside this thankful and blessed lantern.
It will allow those special words to glow… plus, you can personalize it!
What a lovely way to remind yourself to count your blessings.
Finishing Fall Touches
Want to make over your living room for fall? It’s as easy as swapping our your decorative pillows.
Look at some of these cute styles I found for you!
Here’s a pillow that welcomes fall with autumn colors and textures.
It will add a pop of excitement to any couch, and although it’s a seasonal find, you can display it for a few months!
And if you’re looking for something with some extra pops of color, this stitched pumpkin pillow may be for you.
And if these are still a little too fall-heavy for you, this cable knit pillows is the perfect cozy touch for the colder months.
Another super simple way to add a little touch of the season to your space is with an accent rug.
I like to swap out my rugs by the back door, the kitchen sink and the front entryway each season.
This “Hello Fall” rug is inviting and festive.
Designed to be used outside, it will keep all of those muddy shoes from entering your home too!
Then there’s this pumpkin rug that you can use to bring a fall touch to your porch!
Looking for a runner you can use in your entryway?
I found this plaid rug that might not strike you as “fall-inspired,” but I can tell you it will look great with pops of autumn colors.
Remember, a neutral rug allows you to add more autumn touches around your home without too much distraction.
Simple signs or wall decor with words and images of the season are a fun way to create a vignette.
Like this pumpkin canvas painting that showcases multiple pretty pumpkins to match your space.
Then there’s these wooden porch signs that say “happy fall y’all” and “hay rides, pumpkins, apple cider”… what could be more fall?!
This autumn wood sign can be hung on a door or your wall.
The “fall feel” is subtle but sweet!
Let’s cozy up for the season
Sure, fall is about pumpkins and apples and scarecrows and changing leaves.
But it’s also a season of cozy, with comfort foods, evening fires and family gatherings.
So once you have your home decorated, here are a couple of things to help you cozy up and enjoy your beautiful surroundings.
I love these flameless pumpkin candles that you can place on your dresser, alongside table decor or on a bookshelf.
Enjoy the subtle glow as you cozy up on a cool night!
You want to snuggle up for the harvest season and give your home a little decor touch too?
Do it with this cozy patchwork fleece throw.
Bring on the cool October air… you’ll be snug as a bug in a rug! 🙂
There’s also this cable knit throw… chunky and cozy!
