I’ve been on the lookout for the best summer sandals, and boy, did I find them!
Warmer weather comes with a lot of perks, and wearing a cute pair of summer sandals is one of them. I’m a barefoot kinda gal, but if I HAVE to wear shoes, the closer to barefoot I can be the better! Plus, who doesn’t love to show off a fresh, new pedicure?
I love dressing up a pair of jeans with a wedge sandal, sporting a cute thong sandal with a denim skirt, or just slipping on a pair of slides for a day at the ballpark. Quite honestly, there are so many styles to choose from that it’s hard to pick just a few… but I did my best! So if you’d like to see my favorites, you can scroll on down below.

Strappy With Style
Straps are great if you plan on walking a lot this summer. Whether it’s strolling through the park, trekking from grocery store to grocery store, or taking the kids to all of their activities, here are some strappy sandals I love.

These strappy rhinestone sandals from Steve Madden ooze with style. Don’t you think? The sparkles give them a couture feel and they even have a bit of gladiator vibe (that’s easy to wear). The best part is that you can wear them with dressy or casual looks.

The slingback sandal above is a classic in my book. I like that the top of the sandal is adjustable, and the pebble leather adds a nice touch. Super cute with basic shorts and a tee!

The Reese Sandals from Dansko are a must-have for summer. The subtle wedge adds a little height, but it will still help you stay balanced for long walks. It also has some good foot coverage and a summery feel. Cute and practical? Sign me up!

Okay, how cute is this floral sandal from Clarks? It might be one of the cutest styles I’ve discovered this summer. It’s a neutral color which means it will match with anything. What don’t I like? Absolutely nothing! Cute, trendy, supportive, fun… it hits all of the marks for me!
Sporty Summer Styles
If you plan on having an active summer, you’ll need a sandal that can keep up. Here are a few options that should do the trick!

If you’re looking for a lightweight slip-on style sandal, this option from Crocs is a great choice. There’s a reason why kids and grownups alike enjoy these shoes! They’re comfortable and perfect for the beach sand because they’re easy to rinse off.

Okay, I know this multi-purpose summer shoe isn’t necessarily a sandal, but I wanted to include it because it’s a great multi-purpose summer shoe. It has some great support—similar to a sneaker—but it doesn’t look too heavy. Plus, Easy Spirit is a brand I’ve grown to love for comfort and quality.

If you have trouble finding a shoe that fits well, I’m sure you’ll appreciate this adjustable sandal from Walmart. With three points of adjustment, it’s sure to feel perfectly snug. It also has a supportive footbed—meaning your feet will feel good while looking good, too!
Fabulous Flip Flops!
Flip flops don’t have to be basic. I found some that can even be worn to casual weddings or church! Take a look at them below.

This stylish flip flop is from Cloudsteppers by Clarks is super lightweight. I think they’re great for either standing or walking. And based on my experience with the brand, you can always count on Clarks in terms of comfort!

Speaking of comfort… you’ll get just that with these UGG Koolaburra flip flops. They feature a super-cushy platform footbed and a strap that gets more comfortable with every wear.

I’ve been wearing my classic Birkenstock slides for years. And when I saw this style that looks incredibly easy to wear, I had to take a second look!
Slide On In!
These sandals are there for you when you’re in a hurry. Better yet, they’re super stylish, too.

Slide sandals are a perfect match with a bright-colored top and white jeans. And these cute gold ones will make your whole outfit pop! How easy is that for summer dressing?

I’m OBSESSED with these denim slides. You know me and denim… and these scream summer!

The last slide I want to share is this three-strap style from Clarks. Women love the comfort, support and durability of these ones. Plus, you can be sure you’ll always get the perfect fit!
Let’s Dress It Up!
I tend to love to wear a dressy sandal as opposed to closed-toe heels when I need something a little more elevated. Here are a few I found that will work with denim, dresses and more!

I love the overall look of these Vince Camuto heeled sandals. The Espadrille heel makes them ideal for summer, and the elevated style makes them easy to dress up.

Here are some other sandals from Michael Kors that are ideal for the summer months. The classic black is absolute perfection and they’ll look good with anything. The block heel also gives you an extra inch or two, but in a subtle way.

I know not everyone can wear a dress shoe with a lot of height, so I thought this block heel sandal by Steve Madden was a perfect choice. It comes in blush, black and beige—making them great for year-round wear.
