When life gets busy, it’s hard to remember to show yourself a little self-care.

For some people, that’s a nice bubble bath with a good book. For others, it’s watching birds while enjoying a cup of coffee on the back porch.

But even the smallest little acts of self-care are important and can leave you feeling refreshed and back to being “you!”

Today, I thought I’d share a few ways you can incorporate more self-care into your life. Hopefully, you’ll find one that you can sneak into your own life.

An At-Home Facial

You don’t have to go to a spa to get a spa-worthy treatment!

Jill

I like to give myself my own little facial at home with the HydroBurst Eye Masks from Dr. Denese. I can’t tell you how great these are for puffiness, lines and tired eyes in general.

I love putting them on right before bed to help me unwind, or in the morning while I’m enjoying my coffee!

Self-Care

Another facial-feeling product I like to use is the Advanced Firming Facial Pads which help exfoliate skin β€” leaving it brighter and leaving my skin tone more even.

The included HydroShield Dream Cream is the perfect pair to the facial pads and delivers the perfect amount of hydration to my face!

Spruce Up Your Shower

Showers are necessary. But your shower doesn’t only have to be a necessity.

I love turning my regular shower into a spa-like experience. And you can do that with these lavender shower steamers!

All you have to do is place one under the water while your shower is running and you’ll experience calming scents that are sure to help you relax.

These Dr. Teal’s lavender bath bombs are also a great option if you’re more of a bath person.

They’re so nourishing!

Get Moving!

I work on my computer for hours a day. And when I get super entrenched in my work, it can get draining.

I try to remember to get up and get moving throughout the day. Even if I don’t have a task to do!

Jill

So if I’m working in my office, I’ll head down the hall to grab some coffee, or maybe step out on the front porch for some fresh air.

It sounds like a bit much… but setting an alarm every few hours to remind yourself to get on your feet and take a mental break is always helpful for me!

Fill Your Space with Fragrance

There’s something about a good fragrance that puts me in the best mood. Fresh-baked cinnamon rolls… flowers in a park… the scent of the beach…

But I don’t always get to have those scents on demand. And that’s where candles come in handy!

Jill

Our Just Jill fragrance collection is filled with fresh scents, sweet scents, and more.

We also have room sprays and wax melts.

Another way to find calm in fragrance is with aromatherapy.

Self-Care

You can buy a diffuser like the one above and fill it with essential oils that will help you feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

They’re easy to use and can instantly lift your mood.

Sleep Soundly

I’m sure we all know that getting a good night’s rest is often easier said than done. But when I sleep well, my whole day goes a lot better.

The first step to ensuring good quality sleep is your environment. Yes, that means a good mattress, sheets and anything else you sleep with!

Self-Care

Sometimes, a nice cup of chamomile tea will help me sleep more soundly too.

I enjoy the Honey Vanilla Chamomile from Celestial Seasonings.

If you have a hard-working friend who could use some extra sleep assistance, this bath and body set that includes a few self-pamering items could be a good choice.

Treat Yourself

Self-care includes treating your body right with nutritious foods, staying hydrated and keeping in shape.

But part of self-care is also treating yourself when you need a little pick-me-up!

Self-Care

One of my favorite guilt-free ways to do this is by enjoying a Macalat bar.

These bars are gluten-free, sugar-free, nut-free, zero-net carbs, dairy free and certified organic. Plus, they taste delicious!

Self-Care

I’ve also been enjoying Blake’s Mother’s Cookies recently.

They’re just the right amount of sweet and they come in the most delicious flavors for any mood you’re in!

Which self-care tip will you use? I may be channeling all of them… why not!

Let me know if you have more to add to the list as well!

From my home to yours,

Jill
