While so much of my time as a host on QVC was spent helping you decorate your home, I’m always surprised how often I’m asked about my QVC beauty favorites.

QVC has such an amazing collection of brands that it can be hard to know where to start!

*post contains affiliate links-opinions about products are my own.

From my hosting days at QVC…a 4 hour beauty show!

I did have the chance to try a lot, and I mean A LOT, of the beauty products during my time as a program host. What I learned, more than anything, is that finding the right beauty products is a very personal experience.

What works great for one person’s skin may not work for another. And just because a certain lip color looks great on one gal, it may not look good on another.

I learned so much for make up artists like Bobbi Brown

That said, while I tried and tried and tried many products….I did settle in on many beauty favorites.

And with a change in season, it seemed like a good time to give you the biggest overview yet of all of my brand and product faves.

So, whether you’re looking for some new recommendations on body care, cleansers, lip glosses or moisturizers, here are my tried and true QVC beauty favorites.

Remember you can simply click on any of the blue links through out the blog to see more about each of the listed products!

Great Skin Is Always In

I’m happy with my skin at 53! 53? How did THAT happen! đŸ™‚

One of the best pieces of advice my Mom ever gave me? “Before you start wearing makeup, start taking care of your skin.” I was 14. And I listened!

When you take care of your skin, you don’t need to try and find as many products to make your skin look smoother, more dewy and more youthful. Do your due diligence with your skin, and it really goes a long way!

Eve Lom Cleanser and Cloths

I recently rediscovered the Eve Lom cleanser and it has turned into my nighttime cleanser. Because it has a balm like consistency, I like how it melts down my make up.

Check out the cleanser HERE

The cotton muslin cloths (included) are essential, in my opinion, when using this cleanser. Use the cleanser on dry skin to dissolve makeup and grime and then use the cloth, which you should dampen with warm water to wipe residue away. The cloth also helps to gently exfoliate the skin too.

My skin feels so clean and refreshed after using the Eve Lom Cleansing Balm. It has a eucalyptus/botanical scent that feels very “spa facial” to me too.

Lancer Discovery Kit

I’m proud to say that it was my love of Dr. Lancer’s skincare products that brought it to the attention of the QVC buyers several years ago.

This is the kit that I first tried when I wanted to learn more about the products, and it’s a great way for you to try them too.

The polish is one of the best exfoliators I’ve ever used on my skin and it may just top the list of my beauty favorites!

I use it daily, in the morning. I like the cleanser too…but find it is better for my morning cleanse, not when I need to remove makeup, especially around the eyes. It’s a cleanser, not an eye makeup remover, if that makes sense?

The nourish moisturizer is also very nice, and for my skin, is the perfect weight for daytime.

It’s a simple routine that makes my skin glow. You’ll see another Lancer favorite of mine down further in the blog. It’s an excellent quality collection of products that for me, produces a “better looking skin” result.

Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream

I first tried Elemis products when I was working in London years ago, so their collections have always been on my radar.

One of their top sellers, and one of my beauty favorites, is the pro collagen marine cream.

This is a daily moisturizer with treatment benefits…meaning it’s not just for hydrating the skin. You can use it as a day cream, a night cream or both. I tend to use it as a night cream in my regimen because I like how light yet luxurious it is on the skin. I find it absorbs well and leaves a softened look to the appearance of my skin.

Vitamin Enriched Face Base

If you want a wonderful multi-tasking product for your skin and makeup, then I highly recommend the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base.

I think I’ve used this product for over 15 years. It goes in my beauty favorites hall of fame. I’m never without it.

I originally bought it to use as a primer under my Bobbi Brown Foundation Sticks (another long time fave of mine.) But I found myself using it as a daily moisturizer when I wasn’t wearing makeup too.

This picture was taken at least 6 years ago. Face Base has always been a favorite!

Enriched with Vitamin C and Shea butter, this multi-tasker cushions the skin without leaving it feeling greasy or slick.

I like it as a primer when using a creamier foundation, not a powder based or light liquid foundation. But as a moisturizer? A dream everyday. I will not be without this product. Ever.

Philosophy Hope In A Tube

Hope in a Tube is one of the first eye creams I ever used. And I’m still using it decades later.

Why? It just works for my undereye needs.

For me, that’s hydration, hydration, hydration. I use a little dab during the day under my concealer, and go a little heavier at night, almost like an eye mask, so that my skin just drinks it in. The key with this product is “less is more.”

Hooked On A Peelin’

There’s only so much a daily skin care regime can do. That’s why I’ve always invested in “peel” products. Peels usually have higher concentrations of active ingredients and the perfect way to give your skin a regular “boost.” Here are my favorites.

Lancer Caviar Lime Peel

If you have dull, stressed skin, then this peel is for you. It contains 10% Glycolic Acid as well as the Australian “Caviar Lime” which contains high amounts of natural alpha hydroxy acids.

I use this Caviar Lime Peel at least 2x a month.

In short, this is a peel to help dissolve those dead skin cells that are making your skin look ashy and tired. It will also help with the appearance of pores.

Philosophy Vitamin C Peel

The Philosophy brand was born from the world of medispa’s and in office lunch hour “peels.”

This vitamin C peel is great if your skin is showing wear from a few unprotected years in the sun, or if you have real texture issues.

I like the subtle grit of the first step, which smells like orange juice! There’s your vitamin C! It helps slough off the dead skin cells so that the next step, the activator, can allow the treatment side of this peel to deliver down into the skin. Skin looks smoother and brighter. Not a bad combination!

Most people who try this Vitamin C Microdelivery peel see better looking skin immediately. Certainly by week 2. It’s a tried and true product with excellent reviews…mine among them!

Clinique Overnight Moisture Mask

If your skin is Sahara desert dry, I hope you’ll try this mask.

And even if your skin isn’t as dry as you think, I hope you’ll try this mask.

Bottom line here? The lines and wrinkles you don’t like on your face and neck will ALWAYS look better if your skin is drenched in moisture. And sometimes, the day and night creams we’re using just aren’t enough.

This overnight mask floods your skin with moisture in a non-greasy way. Whether skin is more parched due to climate, age, or whatever…this mask discovery was a game changer for me. I especially like to use it in the hours leading up to a big event.

I always use this Clinique mask the night before I’m going to be on the TODAY show!

Your feet need love too, that’s why I wanted to share a couple of great foot care products with you. If you’re not ready to head back to the salon yet, these products help exfoliate and hydrate beautifully! They’ll get your tootsies ready for sandal season in no time!

Peak 10 Foot Cream

My Makeup Must Haves

My daily makeup routine needs to be quick, easy to apply and result in me looking like me, maybe a bit better đŸ™‚

I don’t love wearing makeup…but I know when my skin is evened out (I have redness) my eyes look a little bigger (starting to get hooded eyelids) and I use the right liner and gloss (I have little lips!) I look more polished.

So below, you’ll find the products I pretty much use on a daily basis for a simple 5 minute to flawless look. I put them in order of how I use them, so I hope that’s helpful! And I always start with a clean, bare face that has been lightly moisturized.

This is my “real life” makeup look. I keep It simple and natural.

Although this blog is all about the beauty products from QVC, they don’t carry a primer I really like. It’s by Lancome and you can check it out HERE.

Tatcha The Pearl

This is an undereye brightener designed to be worn UNDER your concealer/foundation. I use the soft light shade. You have to work this a bit before it goes from liquidy to creamy, but it creates a subtle, non sparkle brightening that layers really well with concealer.

Dark circles aren’t a huge issue for me, so when I simply wear a tinted moisturizer, like the Bare Minerals version below, I can get away with the Pearl as minimal coverage under the eyes.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Cream

Quick, lightweight, enough coverage, SPF. It’s everything I want in the step I dislike the most when it comes to putting on makeup!

Born This Way Foundation

When I need a little more coverage or a more refined look, my go to lately has been this liquid foundation from Too Faced. I wear light beige. It’s buildable, so can go from medium to more full coverage easily to suit your skin needs.

I use the Born This Way concealer too.

And using the right brushes for application is critical for a smooth finish. I like these brushes by IT Cosmetics.

When I’m doing my eyes, I like a neutral eye shadow, kicked up with liner and finished off with mascara. 1-2-3.

I like the IT Naturally Pretty Palettes because they are matte and smooth on the lid. I like this MAC eyeliner because it glides smoothly with a saturated payoff. And I like the Lancome Grandiose Mascara because the unique angle of the brush really lets me “push” the formula up into the base of my lashes to create a more voluminous, yet natural look.

Buxom Gloss Duo-Dolly and Katie

I’m a huge fan of Buxom Lip Products and this duo includes my all time fave color, Dolly.

The perfect mauvy nude. Katie is perfect to give a kiss of a golden peach shimmer on top of lip liner. This is a great duo!

I really like Buxom Lip Liners too. I always outline then fill in my lips with liner then top with gloss. These liners are more like lip crayons because they’re a bit larger than a traditional pencil.

My other lip liner faves are my MAC. The colors Spice and Soar have been in my makeup bag for as long as I can remember. Good basics for lining, creating a slightly larger lip look and great under gloss.

A Few More Beauty Favorites

How could I bring you a list of beauty favorites and not include Soap Rocks?

This set is on clearance! If you don’t know about Soap Rocks, I’ll just say they are the most unique and beautiful soaps you’ll ever use!

Yes, you can use them in the shower, on your face and to wash your hands.

Created by an artist and scientist, Soap Rocks look like you’ve unearthed treasures. These contain a lot of essential oils, vitamins and use vegetable based glycerin. Gentle for your skin and a Just Jill Favorite!

WEN body cream unscented

I’ve never been a huge fan of body lotions and creams. But I do like the luxury of this unscented body cream by WEN.

I especially like how it really hydrates my legs after shaving and keeps them looking good.
