Whether you use them for decor, for setting the mood or for covering up a musky smell, candles are a great addition to any room.
In the spring, I reach for fresh, airy scents like the Capri Blue Volcano Candle that welcome the warm weather with ease. However, fall is the time of year when candles take center stage in my household.

From pumpkin to nutmeg to vanilla, you really can’t go wrong with the warm seasonal scents. I find them calming and welcoming — plus, they’re just the pick-me-up I need on a chilly autumn evening.
My Favorite Fall Candles
My personal favorite is this one from Nest. It has hints of pumpkin and chai that make me want to cozy up on my couch with a warm cup of tea. (they also have a diffuser version for those that don’t want to light a candle)
I love the look of the glass and will say that it lasts a very long time!
Now this one might not necessarily scream “fall” but it’s a must-have in my home.
It’s called the Thymes Frasier Fir Candle and it always has a spot in my living room when the weather gets cooler. Run… don’t walk if you haven’t tried it! There are lots of good balsam fragrances out there but this one is the gold standard in my book.
This candle from Voluspa has a neat story! My bestie gave it to me for my 50th birthday. It has five wicks — one for each decade! It’s a great gifting brand and you can find it at multiple retailers.
Here’s one of my favorite brands that was carried at QVC. The HomeWorx brand has lots and lots of delicious scents for fall and the Harvest Leaves is on the top of my list. The Hot Cider Donut is also a winner… it’s like making a batch of donuts without all the work!
While I think these are the cream of the crop in the world of candles, I completely understand that everyone has their own favorite scent.
But with some stores still closed and inventory out of wack at multiple retailers, I wanted to help you out by collecting some fall candles that won’t leave you disappointed.
More Candles For The Season
To find some the ones that caught my attention online, check out the mix of photos below!
I personally love the chic details on the Terrain Evergreen Tree Bark Candle (one of my favorite local stores in Philly) and the unique redcurrant scent profile of the one from the Jo Malone London Candle.
But go ahead and explore — there are fall candles, holiday candles and some that I just couldn’t keep out of the mix.
If you’re like me, you might want them all!
From my home to yours,
Jill
