To me, a makeup and skincare routine is more than just a routine. It’s something that makes me feel put-together, gives me a good start to the day, and boosts my confidence!
But just because I have a routine doesn’t mean I always stick to the same products. In fact, I try new ones regularly and I’m always looking for hidden finds to enhance my beauty arsenal.

MAC Unfiltered Nudes Eyeshadow Palette
I love how eyeshadow can transform your entire face while adding depth, dimension, and a pop of color to any look!
I don’t wear eyeshadow every day, but I’m loving this MAC palette. MAC’s formula has always been a favorite of mine and I really enjoy how smoothly the color glides on. This assortment features “nudes” that can either be soft or kicked up a notch for a little neutral glam.
Polite Society Powder Blush Stick
Simple yet transformative, blush is a must-have in my beauty routine. Even with a subtle hint of color, it gives me that “I’m awake and ready to go!” look and I feel like it adds some lift to my face… even on those tough, busy days!
This Polite Society Polite Pops Powder Blush Stick is my most favorite new blush item and I love the way it dabs on and softens into a pretty powder finish. Now, some people are a little hesitant to go from powder to a cream. But if you’ve been wanting to try it out, this is the perfect option because it has the texture of both.
HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour Lip Pencil
Lip liner is often overlooked, but it can definitely elevate your entire makeup look. Not only does it define your lips, but it also (typically) has better staying power than a gloss or lipstick. So you don’t have to reapply as often!
This liner from Huda Beauty is one I own in several shades. But for the fall and holiday season, I really like the deep rose. It has a retractable tip and a formula that glides on smoothly for a look that appears effortlessly chic.
YSL Touche Éclat Awakening Concealer Pen
Blush is one of my tricks for looking awake no matter the time of the day. The other? Concealer! It’s truly a miracle worker for hiding imperfections and brightening up my complexion.
The YSL Touche Éclat Awakening Concealer Pen is a recent rediscovery and I don’t know why I ever stopped using it! It’s great for low-maintenance makeup days and I can use it under my eyes without that creasing that happens with heavier formulas. Trust me when I say my dark circles don’t stand a chance with this product!
Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm
Now that I’m back working all hours on QVC with JAI Jewelry, I regularly come home with a full face of makeup. And because I don’t want to put in some serious elbow grease to take it all off, I turn to balms to effortlessly melt down long-wearing products. Yes, that means lip stains and eyelash glue, too!
The Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm is a tad pricier, but I can tell you… it works. I also don’t have to use a whole lot to take off a day’s worth of makeup.
*Jill’s tip! Use a black washcloth with warm water to help remove product and rinse your face. It won’t stain like lighter-color towels!
Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm
If you’re looking for a similar product at a more budget-friendly price point, I recommend Clinique’s Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm.
This one is fantastic for sensitive skin and if you don’t like fragrance, this one is for you. It has a silky, lightweight feel and it includes linoleic acid which is formulated to leave skin feeling nourished.
Lancer Caviar Lime Acid Peel
This time of the year, I rely heavily on the Lancer Caviar Lime Acid Peel. Why? Transitioning from summer to winter skin means extra exfoliation is an absolute must.
An exfoliator not only preps your skin for smooth makeup application, but it also removes dead skin cells and helps to even out skin tone and texture. It’s an easy treatment for glowing results.
Do any of these catch your eye? Or give you any inspo to kick your beauty routine up a notch? I sure love sharing these current beauty favorites with you… so I hope that’s the case!
From my home to yours,
Jill
