You really can’t go wrong with brownies.

They’re simple, classic and I don’t think I’ve ever turned down a brownie when it’s offered to me.

Now, I’ve been making brownies for as long as I can remember, but when I looked at my recipe collection at, I realized I’ve never posted mine!

I have a bunch of other chocolate desserts like my fudgy chocolate sheet cake, my chocolate-lovers pie, my German chocolate caramel cake, and so many more.

But there’s nothing quite like a brownie.

While you may have your own go-to recipe for homemade brownies, I thought I’d share my own so you can give it a try. Here you go!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs.
  3. Add cocoa, flour and salt and combine. Then, add vanilla and nuts (if including).
  4. Pour batter into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

I know I said you can’t go wrong with a brownie, but some recipes end up turning out dry and a little bland. So when I knew I wanted to share mine with you, I knew it had to be perfect!
