Loungewear is more popular than ever and I’m not complaining! I remember the days of having to choose between pajamas or typical work clothes… but now?
Nearly all of my favorite stores have a separate loungewear section filled with comfy clothes.

So… what is loungewear anyway and how is it different from sleepwear? Sleepwear is designed exclusively for sleeping. But loungewear is great for hanging out around the house and sometimes, even heading out the front door.
If you’re in need of some loungewear to help make your day-to-day a bit cozier, here are some options worth browsing!

Loungewear Sets To Keep You Comfortable
I’m a believer that if you find something you love… hold it close! And that’s how I feel about the Soma brand.
I have quite a few items from Soma. But one of my favorites is this Cool Nights Lounge Set.
It’s lightweight but high-quality. And since I always seem to run warm, it keeps me cool as I go about my day.
I just LOVE this “Love” Lounge Set! And while it’s no longer available, I found another lovely set that looks just as cute and comfy!
It’s made with a jersey knit fabric and it has a slightly-fitted look that makes it look a bit more tailored than your classic PJ set.
I don’t know about you… but I’d wear this top to a nice dinner! And if I can look dressed up while feeling ultra-cozy, I’m all for it.
This pullover top is made with rayon-blend material that’s stretchy and soft to the touch. And you can get the pants to match!
Some Super-Cozy Tops
Even if I’m wearing a pair of jeans, I love to pair them with a comfy top. And the comfiest of all? Barefoot Dreams.
From the very moment I discovered Barefoot Dreams, I never turned back. This cardigan is one of my favs and it’s my go-to when I want some light coverage. You can find similar cardigans HERE!
I’m also a fan of the Pullover from Barefoot Dreams. So easy to slip on when you’re getting ready for the day.
This plush-knit hooded pullover top is designed to go from the couch to the grocery store. And because it’s long sleeve but lightweight, it’s great for those spring evenings where you still need to cover up a bit.
Pants and Loungewear Bottoms
Nothing beats hanging out at home on a rainy day. But the last thing you want is to be stuck inside without some comfortable loungewear to relax in.
The 24/7 joggers from Soma have a smooth fabric that is great for hanging out on the couch. With that said, the stylish slim-fit silhouette means that you can also wear them out and about!
If you like the cropped look, check out the Seasoft Straight Pant from Athleta.
I don’t own these pants, but I’m familiar with Athleta and can attest to the quality! They also have a few cute colors to choose from.
Summer will be here before you know it!
So if you’d rather opt for a short-style piece of loungewear instead of pants, you won’t be disappointed with these ones from Target.
Other Loungewear Accessories
Lounging can go beyond clothes and these extras may help you relax and unwind.
Toes a little chilly? Give them their own loungewear upgrade with these Dearfoams Velour Slippers. They have a bunch of colors and patterns, but something about the leopard print was calling my name!
Okay… so you might get a few looks if you wear a robe outside, but if you don’t plan on stepping outdoors, a comfy robe is a must!
I recommend the AnyBody fleece wrap robe. It’s made with an ultra-plush knit fabric… so it’s kind of like wearing around a blanket!
And when I’m really trying to lounge and relax, I love to light a candle in my home.
We just added some brand new scents to the Just Jill Shop and they’re ideal for the spring and summer months. But we also have bestselling fragrances that are great for any season!
We all get busy and stressed, so I hope these loungewear items will help you cozy up and relax a bit.
From my home to yours,
Jill
