If you’re anything like me, you love a good deal. There are certainly times where I’ll splurge on tried and true products, but if I can save some money, I’m all for it!
That’s why I always have my eye on the latest deals in-store and online.
Until recently, Black Friday, Labor Day and Memorial Day were my go-to bargain-hunting shopping days. However, as online shopping started becoming more prominent, Amazon Prime Day rose to the top of my favorite deal days of the year.
I’ll admit that it took me a little while to warm up to shopping on Amazon, but now I turn to the site for everything from cute home decor to kitchen appliances.

Why I Consider Myself An Avid Amazon Shopper
If you haven’t already noticed, I adore Amazon. Why? Three words: My Prime Membership.
In my opinion, this is the most attractive part about the entire site. While everyone can browse Amazon, Prime members can access exclusive deals along with free one- or two-day shipping.
Not signed up? You can try it out FREE for 30 days. It’s a great way to test the service without making a full commitment! (don’t worry, you can cancel after the free trial)
By becoming a member, you can also explore Amazon Music. It’s basically a streaming service filled with thousands of artists, playlists and albums.
I love the streaming option because browsing is super simple and quick. In fact, there has never been an artist, playlist or album I couldn’t find on the site. Whether I’m cooking or cleaning, I always have to have music playing in the background — so Amazon Music definitely comes in handy!
What is Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day started in 2015 in honor of the site’s 20th anniversary. The one-day event eventually turned into a two-day shopping experience where buyers could save more than double on their favorite household, tech, fashion, beauty and toy items.
This year, Amazon will offer over one million deals spanning 48 hours! In addition, they are putting a stronger emphasis on supporting small businesses and allowing people to shop from new and innovative companies across the site.
They’re also offering the option to gift a Prime membership. So, if you’d like to give someone the option to take advantage of the service, you can send them a three month or 12 month plan… the perfect gift for someone who already has everything! (wonderful for college students as well)

If you’ve seen my Fabulous Farmhouse Finds Amazon list, you may recognize this Glass Domed Serving Plate. I was thrilled to find that it was on sale because it’s perfect for holding freshly-baked cookies or autumn-inspired treats!
The Yankee Candle Spiced Pumpkin Candle has over 7,000 reviews on Amazon and it’s currently on sale for 40% off. I love pumpkin everything during the fall (recipes, scents, you name it!) so you bet I have my eye on this one!
So happy to see this one on sale! The Gibson Overseas Dining Set is on my list of Coastal Chic finds on Amazon. It comes with 12 pieces including small plates, large plates and bowls.
The Scotts Outdoor Cleaning Wipes are my go-to for patio furniture, outdoor cooking essentials and more. I even featured them in a TODAY Show article. While the savings aren’t huge, this is a cleaning product you’ll want to use time and time again!
Last holiday season, I joined Hoda and Jenna on the TODAY Show to feature three of my favorite compact appliances. One of them was the Omorc Habor Air Fryer and it’s currently on sale for under $100!
I love the Mrs. Meyers brand and even listed the hand soap as one of my favorite cleaning products on the TODAY Show! While the hand soap isn’t on sale, this dish soap three-pack is currently discounted. Plus, who doesn’t love the scent of lavender?

Aren’t these Sperry Topsider Saltwater Boots the cutest? They look perfect for fall — especially on the days when the weather is unpredictable. I also love that they’re on sale for a limited time.
The NYDJ Jeans have been a favorite of mine for years. They’re super comfortable and in my opinion, they make me look a size smaller! Um, two pairs please!
Birkenstock is a reputable brand known for high-quality shoes. A few of my friends rave about these Soft Leather Sandals and they’re on sale right now!
A good bag that will last for years is a closet staple. While I don’t own the Frye Melissa Shopper, it looks like it fits the profile! Depending on the color you want, you can get it for 46% off during Amazon’s Prime Day event.
Superga Sneakers have been popular for a while now. While I don’t have a pair of my own, white sneakers are versatile and super practical. I love how these ones can go with just about anything!

Do you have a favorite pair of rain boots? Hunter makes some great ones that will last you for years. During the Prime Day event, you can get them for a fraction of the regular price.
My Favorite Beauty Deals
Crest 3D Whitestrips were a bestseller during last year’s Prime Day event. This year, they’re expected to fly off the site! You’ll want to snag them quick to score the deal.
89,000… that’s how many reviews this hair tool has! The Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer makes it easier to style your hair because you don’t have to hold the brush and blow dryer separately. I can’t vouch for it, but you can take a look at the reviews if you’re considering making the purchase.
Vitamin C is an incredible brightening agent and nowadays, the ingredient is showing up in multiple skincare products. If you’d like to give it a try, the TruSkin Vitamin C Serum might be worth looking into.
I don’t have it yet, but the sale price and the fact that it has over 37,000 reviews is the reason I’m keeping my eye on it.
My Favorite Tech and Smart Home Deals
In May, I shared my favorite cleaning products with the TODAY Show’s shopping team. One product I reveled was the iRobot Roomba 675 Robot Vacuum which is super helpful for cleaning up all the dog hair around my home!

Don’t get me wrong. Sitting down with a good hardcover book is unbeatable. Unfortunately, it’s hard to store a bunch of books especially when your collection keeps growing! That’s where the Kindle Paperwhite E-reader can come in handy. I gave it to my mother last year for Christmas and she adores it!

Okay last vacuum… I promise! I only have the Roomba but this Shark ION one seems like a pretty good deal as well. It has a 4.6-star average on Amazon and it can work on both carpet and hardwood floors.
