Fall is here and if there’s one recipe I hope you’ll try, it’s for the best harvest snack mix I know!

That’s a pretty bold statement because as a confessed snacker, there are a lot of really good snack mixes out there.

Let me tell you more about it.

It’s a combination of sweet, salty, crunchy, chocolatey, and creamy all in one handful.

Do I have your attention? I hope so! I think you’ll like this part too.

My harvest snack mix only has 3 ingredients. BOOM!

Where Did I Find This Delicious Mix?

For any of my sorority sisters from Kappa Alpha Theta at the University of Missouri, they’re looking at this mix and saying, “Hey! THETA MIX!”.

Yep, I first had this combination of sweet and salty goodness as a freshman pledge at my sorority house. And funny enough, just like this recipe is a mixture of very different flavors that all come together and make a great combination, well, that’s kind of what it was like at the Theta house too.

A lot of different people from various places and walks of life all came together as “sisters.” A little cornball… but at the time, I bought in hook, line, and sinker!

Harvest Snack Mix

A delicious and addicting combination of salty, sweet and chocolate!

  • 1 c. dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 c. plain M&M's
  • 1 c. candy corn

  1. Mix together and eat by the handful!

This combination of color isn’t just delicious to eat, it’s pretty to look at too!

I’ve used this mix to fill up small votives and big hurricanes for an easy and festive way to decorate for fall.

I’m always so surprised at the reaction this harvest snack mix gets when people try it.

Even the candy corn haters seem to come around to it.

I think the peanuts and the chocolate really tame down the sweetness of the candy corn.

Believe me, I’ve had hundreds of handfuls of this mix to come to that conclusion!

Around our home, it doesn’t really feel like fall until this mix appears. I hope your family enjoys it too!
