Need a quick and easy meal? A sandwich is always a good idea! And you can’t really go wrong with some tasty ingredients between a couple of slices of bread.

I don’t think I’ve ever met someone that doesn’t like sandwiches. Probably because there are so many types you can make. Ham and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, paninis… you name it!

I don’t think I could name a favorite. Although the simpler the better in my opinion. So if you need a few sandwich ideas to make when you’re in the mood for an easy meal, check out my simple sandwich recipes below.

Simple Sandwich Recipes

I can’t put all of my favorites into a blog… but here are some sandwich recipes I think you’ll enjoy

Savory Ham and Cheese Sliders

These sliders may just be my favorite way to enjoy a ham and cheese sandwich. Ham and cheese go together perfectly. But in this recipe, perfect turns into magic!

Sandwich Recipes

They’re made on Hawaiian sweet rolls which give you the perfect sweet and salty taste alongside the savory ham. I also put a butter spread on top that makes them melt in your mouth…

Pulled Pork Sandwich

Summer calls for pulled pork sandwiches. And if they’re on the menu, I’m the one grabbing two!

Sandwich Recipes

You can use pork or chicken for these sandwiches and the meat is super easy to make ahead of time.

I slather mine in BBQ sauce (I always go for the classic flavor) and enjoy having macaroni salad, coleslaw or baked beans on the side!

Cheesesteak 3 Ways

I live near Philadelphia so I may be a little biased… but a cheesesteak may be one of the best sandwiches out there.

Sandwich Recipes

It’s traditionally made with grilled beef and slathered in provolone cheese. Although there are plenty of people who opt for Cheese Whiz instead!

While tradition is great, I like to change up my cheesesteaks every once in a while. And in this blog, you can find multiple variations including buffalo beef style, south Philly style and Greek style.

Classic PB&J

I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of a classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich. They’re so nostalgic and enjoyable!

Sandwich Recipes

I’ve always been a crunchy peanut butter gal and my sandwiches are no different. I also enjoy them with apricot-raspberry preserves!

I’ve also tried our Southern Roots Sisters jam in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Let me tell you… SUCH a winner!

Egg Salad 3 Ways

Put those soon-to-expire eggs to good use with these egg salad recipes!

Sandwich Recipes

A classic egg salad sandwich will always be a favorite of mine. But I also like changing it up! While there are plenty of ways you can make it, I’ve nailed three styles — siracha, sweet gherkin and cobb.
