Since launching justjill.com, I’ve posted over 500 blogs. I know… I can’t believe it either! And each year, I enjoy seeing what blogs you love the most.

Below, check out the top blogs of 2023 including product roundups, recipes, and more!

Stories from Our Beach House Makeover

Owning a little beach house has always been a dream of mine.

And while I didn’t totally understand the whole “going down to the shore” concept during my first 10 years in Pennsylvania, my husband, Doug, was persuasive enough to talk me into looking into some Jersey Shore condos.

We finally found a condo — one that was furnished. It wasn’t really my taste, but, for the first 5 years or so, I was fine with how it came to us.

But then, you know me, I kind of love to decorate. And renovate. And TRANSFORM! So here’s the story of how I gave our beach house a makeover.

Pineapple Bake

This pineapple bake is one of the signature sides we have during the springtime and Easter season.

Find the recipe HERE.

It was a hit the first time I shared it and even after a few years, you love it just as much!!

The recipe only requires five ingredients and you may already have them in your pantry. It’s also an easy recipe to double (or triple!) if you’re feeding a crowd!

My Top Drugstore Beauty Buys

Beauty products can get expensive… and quick! That’s why I try to seek out inexpensive items that get the job done.

Find the roundup HERE.

In this blog, I share some of my favorite skincare, makeup and hair care items that can save you money.

And guess what? They work just as well as high-end brands!

Classic Macaroni Salad

Simplicity meets deliciousness in this easy-to-make macaroni salad… great for summer parties, potlucks, tailgates or any casual gathering!

Find the salad HERE.

It’s filled with crisp veggies, tangy dressing, and hearty hard-boiled eggs that add an incredible creaminess to the dish. Trust me when I say it comes together quite nicely!

I also love that it can be made up to three days in advance. Just be sure to store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Skincare Favorites I’m Loving Right Now

During my 25 years as an on-air host at QVC, I presented thousands and thousands of beauty products. And I thought I’d share a few of my favorites with you in this blog!

Keep in mind… some of these were trial and error so they may take some getting used to, but I’m more than happy to share what I know!

Loaded Breakfast Casserole

This breakfast casserole includes all of the classics you’d find on a big breakfast plate… eggs, hash browns, sausage and more.

Find the casserole HERE.

Between the texture and flavor, there’s a lot to love about this loaded breakfast casserole. But one of the reasons I plan on keeping this recipe in close reach is because it’s simple (and I mean SUPER simple) to make.

My Favorite Lip Products

I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but you’ll ALWAYS find some sort of lip product in my bag. Whether it’s a new gloss or one of my tried and true balms, I always like to have a little something on my lips!

Find the blog HERE.

I’ve tested out a bunch of products over the years and although I’m not married to a specific brand, I certainly have a few items that I continue to buy time and time again.

So if you’re in the market for a new lip product, you can check out some of my favs for some inspo!

My Favorite Recipes from My Grandma Metzger

Whether she inspired it or it came straight from her little brown recipe box, my Grandma Metzger is at the heart of so many of my recipes.

Find the blog HERE.

I’m so grateful to share these recipes with you. But I must say, part of me likes making them just to relive the incredible memories I had with her. She’ll always have a special place in my heart.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

Grandma’s Easy Cinnamon Bread

Speaking of my Grandma Metzger… here’s her delicious cinnamon bread!

Find the recipe HERE.

This recipe was inspired by the Amish and Mennonite communities near my grandparent’s home in North Central Indiana. Amish cinnamon bread was one of the treats they’d always pick up.

Not only is this bread delicious, but it makes your home smell divine as well!

Chili Cheese Egg Bake

I’ve been making this recipe for years and I can’t tell you how easy it is. That’s why I choose to make it when I need a last-minute brunch or something to bring to a gathering.

It requires under 10 ingredients and you probably already have a lot of them in your home or fridge! Plus, it only requires 3 simple steps before you have a warm, flavorful egg bake in no time.
