How I Gave My Cabinets a Face Lift
Over the years I’ve completed quite a few renovation projects including this one on my own kitchen cabinets!

My kitchen was practically begging for a makeover and thanks to some small changes, it finally got the upgrade it needed!
We did some refacing and changed out the hardware. With a few other adjustments, we had a whole new kitchen!
Harvest Snack Mix
One of my most popular “recipes” to date is this Harvest Snack Mix. The name may scream “fall” but I’m telling you… it’s a great year-round treat!

It only requires three ingredients and it makes a great get-together snack or a simple food gift.
While I make it with candy corn, M&Ms and peanuts, you can change it up by adding more ingredients to make it YOURS!
My Top Drugstore Beauty Buys
Beauty products can get expensive… and quick! That’s why I try to seek out inexpensive items that get the job done.

In this blog, I share some of my favorite skincare, makeup and hair care items that can save you money.
And guess what? They work just as well as high-end brands!
Pineapple Bake
This pineapple bake is one of the signature sides we have during the springtime and Easter season.

It was a hit the first time I shared it and even after a few years, you love it just as much!!
The recipe only requires five ingredients and you may already have them in your pantry. It’s also an easy recipe to double (or triple!) if you’re feeding a crowd!
Hamburger Casserole
Hamburgers are tasty and so are casseroles. So when you put them together, you get an extra delicious dish!

This year was the first time I shared this casserole recipe and it even gained some attention from a national news site!
It’s a good idea to make it when the weather is a bit cooler… it’s a hearty dish that’s sure to keep you warm.
Grandma Metzger’s Best Casserole
Some of my absolute favorite recipes come from my Grandma Metzger.
She was a wizard in the kitchen and taught me so much of what I know today about cooking and baking!

This casserole is called the “best” because it’s really THAT good. Plus, it’s great for any occasion from backyard parties to holiday gatherings.
It’s cheesy, satisfying and it even has an unexpected crunch!
Hearty and Crunchy Taco Pie
My hearty and crunchy taco pie is another new recipe and another one that gained some national attention!

Part of the reason I think it’s so popular is because it takes very little time to make. It could also be because each bite is outstanding and the crunch on top (from Doritos!) really ties everything together.
If your weekdays are a bit busy, this taco pie reheats extremely well—meaning your nights can be a little more relaxed.
Budget-Friendly Beauty Buys
Remember what I said about beauty items? They can get expensive! And in this blog, I share some of my favorite finds under $20.

For example, my tweezers from Tweezerman are a must in my routine and I take them almost anywhere! They include a lifetime warranty AND they’re budget-friendly.
I also included some items to help you relax and others to treat your skin to some much-needed pampering.
Easy Chocolate-Lovers Pie
This quick and easy recipe is great for any last-minute dessert needs. But it’s so rich and decadent, no one will know how simple it is to make!

If you don’t like chocolate (or even if it isn’t your favorite), you won’t like this pie.
But chocolate is a staple in my diet so this pie shows up on my kitchen counter more than I’d like to admit. I can’t complain though… nor can my family!
Three-Bean Chili
Nothing hits the spot quite like chili on a cold winter day. And that’s why I have a batch of this three-bean chili in my fridge right now!

Every year in my household we have a chili cookoff. My husband, Doug, changes up his recipe every time, but I stick with this classic chili and it always turns out great.
While it has a simple foundation, you can always kick it up with new spices or toppings. That way you can make it a couple of times a week and never get sick of it 🙂
Did some of your favorite blogs make the list? If you haven’t read the top 10 blogs of the year, I hope you’ll take a look!
