I don’t know about you… but when it’s hot, the last thing I want to do is turn on the oven. The heat outside is enough. I don’t want my kitchen and living room to be toasty as well!

The good thing is that you don’t have to turn on the oven if you’re looking for a tasty meal. I have quite a few recipes in my collection that are no-cook and no-bake! Here are some of my favorites.

My Favorite No-Oven Meals and Snacks

When the outdoor temperatures reach 70, I’m hesitant enough to want to turn on the oven. But when they reach the 80s (like they are now), it’s a definite no-go!

no-oven recipes

One no-oven meal I like to make is my throwback veggie and ranch cold pizza.

Now, before you tell me that yes, you need to bake the crescent roll dough in the oven, you can also buy a pre-made pizza crust in the store. Then, all you have to do is add the toppings!

egg salad no-oven recipes

Egg salad anyone? This quick and easy recipe is loved by everyone in my family.

It can also be changed up a bit… I have multiple versions including a siracha style, a sweet gherkin style and a cobb style.

If a simple dinner is what you’re looking for, my crockpot shredded chicken is a must-try. The chicken can be used in so many ways including on pizza, in a salad, for tacos and more.

Just place the ingredients in your crock pot, set the timer, and it will be ready in a few hours!

If you’re searching for an essentials side dish, my macaroni salad is a good option. Quite a few of you have already made it and have said great things about the flavor!

I also like that it’s packed with veggies because it gives each bite some incredible texture.

no-oven recipes

I make these no-bake energy bites quite often because they’re easy to throw together, filling, and a perfect snack to hold me over throughout the day.

They’re also a great on-the-go treat!

No-Oven Desserts to Make at Home

Onto the desserts!

No Bake Cherry Cheesecake no-oven recipes

One of my most popular no-oven desserts is my no-bake cherry cheesecake dessert.

This recipe originally came from my Grandma Metzger and it was her go-to when she needed a last-minute treat to bring to gatherings. When I started making it, my daughter Kylie couldn’t get enough!

Now it’s a regular recipe in my household.

This pumpkin pie ice cream is an obvious no-oven dessert… but it fits the description and I thought, “why not” add it!

I made the ice cream with a Cuisinart Stainless-Steel ice cream maker that’s surprisingly easy to use. All you have to do is make the base, turn on the machine, pour the mixture into the bowl and let it do its work!

My chocolate lasagna dessert is one of my newest recipes on justjill.com.

I made it for National Lasagna Day because I couldn’t imagine turning my oven on when it was 85 degrees outside! You can really taste every layer in this dessert. And all of them work together wonderfully!

No Bake Cookies 2

Addicting is just one way to describe these oatmeal chocolate peanut butter cookies.

You know how much I love peanut butter and this recipe combines my favorite with chocolate. A match made in heaven!

No Bake Lemon Blueberry Pie

Then there’s my no-bake lemon blueberry pie.

Oh my. This has to be one of my favorite dessert recipes of all time. It’s extra refreshing, but with the addition of white chocolate chips, it’s also incredibly rich!

no-oven recipes

You may see this recipe and think, “Jill… this requires an oven!”

And yes, it may! But my favorite way of making this lemonade chiffon dessert is with pre-made angel food cake from the store. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

If you’re dealing with hot temps or simply want to whip up an easy recipe, I hope you’ll give these no-oven recipes a try!

From my kitchen to yours,

Jill
